Developed custom Odoo ERP modules and an Android drug-scanning app integrated with the ERP, deployed in pilot at partner pharmacies.
First professional contract, an apprenticeship at CloudSmart, a Luxembourg SME publishing ERP software (Odoo) and associated mobile applications. I contributed to the development of custom ERP solutions for clients across various sectors, and design of an Android application for medication scanning integrated with the ERP.
My role: versatile apprentice developer (Python/Odoo and Android), autonomous on full-scope missions.
Full design and development of an Android application letting pharmacists scan medication barcodes with automatic sync to the Odoo ERP. Creation of the Odoo-side API to expose the features required by the mobile app.
Technical challenges: first hands-on experience with mobile development, Odoo ERP integration via a custom API, reliability of barcode scanning.
Impact: application deployed in a pilot phase with partner pharmacies, measurable time savings on medication inventory.
Development of bespoke Odoo modules and adaptation of existing modules to address the business needs of various clients (inventory, invoicing, internal processes).
Technical challenges: learning the Odoo framework autonomously, fast adaptation to business contexts that differ from one client to another.
Impact: modules shipped to production and used daily by several clients.
